Rose Bay public lights up with solar

It’s Fri-yay and what better way to celebrate the end of the week than with a solar celebration at Rose Bay public school!

We helped 60 Year 2 and Year 4 students build Solar Buddy lights to send to students in developing countries who are without electricity (Africa, Asia) so they can study at night, rather than harmful kerosene.

The school also hosted a special solar assembly with special guests Woollahra Mayor Peter Cavanagh and Deputy Mayor Cnr Jarvis, in honour of the school’s 120 new shiny solar panels on their hall to make clean green energy.

Thanks to Rose Bay Public School for having us.
