We are a proud service provider for Ausgrid’s Power2U program to encourage customers in Sydney to adopt renewable energy and efficiency measures such as new solar power systems and LED lighting upgrades. Solar my School aims to help selected schools in 15 Sydney suburbs to install solar – it’s part of Ausgrid’s efforts to help its customers save on bills by accessing innovative demand management energy solutions.
Solar Buddy is a registered charity in Australia helping to reduce energy poverty for marginalised communities across the world by educating Australian school children. We proudly work with their Buddy2Buddy Schools program which allows Australian students to build SolarBuddy lights to send to fellow students in developing countries who do not have access to electricity for learning.
We have proudly partnered with Sydney Catholic Schools which allows this organisation to use our resources to roll-out solar to their 152 schools. As part of the partnership, the 18 Catholic Schools in the Eastern Suburbs are joining the program.
Purryburry Trust was established in 2011 by Sandy Purves to support environmental projects. The Trust has funded projects ranging from land management to marine plastic pollution mitigation and communication on climate science. It’s now supporting our schools with grants for solar power.
Regional Development Australia (Southern Inland NSW) is licensing the program in partnership with Wingecarribee Shire Council to support schools in this region with a pilot round kicking off in second half of 2020.
