National honours for Solar my School
Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick City Councils’ Solar my School program took out the Local Government Professionals National Federation Award for Environmental Leadership and Sustainability last Thursday in Darwin. Cheers to the 90-odd schools that are part of our program across Sydney, making local renewable energy a priority for their buildings and future generations.
This follows on from winning the State award last month in the same category.
The Local Government Professionals awards highlight the exceptional achievements in local government across NSW and Australia and focus on significant areas of the industry including leadership, environment, community, operational performance and partnerships.
