Eastern Suburbs schools making the most of an under-valued asset

Large unshaded large roofs are a valuable asset these days – especially when it comes to making cheap clean green power!

Congratulations to the many schools in Sydney’s East who are using their roofs for just, with solar panels installed recently:

Glenmore Rd School (23kW), Woollahra Public School (40kW),  Double Bay Public School (30kW), South Coogee Public School (50kW), Matraville Soldiers Settlement (15kW), Coogee Public School (41kW).

Together they are helping address the climate crisis locally, teaching students why renewable energy is part of our today and our future, and saving thousands of dollars each year to invest in learning resources for students.

Collectively, planned installations on other schools in the region, there will be close to 2MW installed by mid-year, making up over 13% of all solar in the eastern suburbs.
